Our Approach

I use many different therapy modalities, but most of what I do falls into three categories: Therapy, Parenting Education, and Intensives.

Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy/Parenting Education and Intensives

  • Individual Therapy

My therapy sessions are unique in that I provide not only traditional talk therapy, but I incorporate many creative therapeutic interventions into my practice as well. My philosophy is that you should always leave a session feeling a sense of relief/accomplishment! I offer individual therapy, and group therapy!

Typically 55 min. (Some modalities require longer sessions/more frequent sessions).

  • Parenting Education/Family Therapy

Parenting is difficult! Perhaps you struggle with how to manage your child’s behavior, or maybe you are struggling to coparent. I work closely with parents to help them effectively communicate with their children, based on their children’s unique needs to create a more cohesive relationship.

    Typically 55 min.

  • Group Therapy/EMDR Intensives

Offering an adult women DBT Basic Skills group! The group will meet very week for 60 minutes and will cover basic DBT skills including: mindfulness, distress tolerance/coping skills, radical acceptance, and emotion regulation/interpersonal skills.

Intensives are specifically designed for individuals completing EMDR and are “condensed” versions of EMDR. Essentially, EMDR follows a “schedule” of one hour sessions once or twice per week. However, oftentimes people would like to see “more” results faster. This is where an intensive comes in. We would do 3 hours of EMDR per day for 4 or 5 days, over a two or three week period. These intensives will be offered beginning in January 2025 and need to be pre-booked to ensure that time is able to be scheduled!
